Our friendly Parks and Recreation team are seeking a Business Support Officer.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Deliver an exceptional level of customer service and resolve customer issues to an appropriate resolution
  • Office administration tasks such as managing calls, invoicing, maintaining data reports, stock control, time sheeting and minute taking
  • Delivering multiple business support activities and services including the management of the booking system for Parks and Recreation and Cemetery and Crematorium portfolio and Support of the Operation arm of Parks and Recreation
  • Update and maintain records and databases, complying with systems and processes to ensure that all information is accurate, stored correctly and accessible.
  • Assist and provide cover for other members of the Support Team
  • Provide efficient, flexible and proactive support to the Management Team

What you will bring:

  • An ability to develop and implement new business processes
  • Proven track record in previous customer service roles
  • Organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Well-developed computer knowledge and skills, particularly in the use of Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrated ability to produce concise, accurate and timely reports, both in verbal and written form
  • NZQA Level 3 Certificate
