Parts Adviser/Interpreter - Urgent Role

With over 50 years of experience in supplying log handling and tree harvesting equipment to the forestry industry in New Zealand and overseas, our brands, Ensign and Woodsman Pro, are industry leaders. We are currently seeking a new Parts Interpreter to join our Spare Parts department/store.

Role Overview:

Reporting to the Parts Manager, you will play a key role in supporting our staff and customers. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in diagnosing issues and recommending appropriate parts
• Providing technical advice and support to customers and staff
• Assisting with the ordering and supply of parts and components
• Monitoring stock levels and reordering parts as necessary
• Interpreting technical drawings
• Creating jobs and invoices in our accounting software
• Building and maintaining relationships with our stakeholders
• Communicating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts
• Ensuring accurate and up-to-date information on all parts, usage, and sales.

What We're Looking For:

• Mechanical knowledge
• Experience in providing technical customer service
• Strong communication skills
• Friendly personality with excellent customer service skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy.

Additional Information:

• The successful candidate must undergo a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
• This is a full-time role with competitive hourly and overtime rates.
