Position Overview:

As our Dental Practice Patient  Coordinator/Practice Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our practice. From managing administrative tasks to overseeing day-to-day operations, your contributions will be instrumental in upholding our reputation for excellence. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently manage the front desk, including appointment scheduling, patient inquiries, and billing processes.
  • Coordinate staff schedules and oversee staff training and development initiatives.
  • Implement and maintain office policies and procedures to optimise workflow and enhance patient experience.
  • Handle accounts receivable/payable and manage financial transactions accurately.
  • Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork among staff members.
  • Collaborate with dentists to optimize patient flow and ensure seamless treatment coordination.
  • Communicate effectively with dental equipment and supply representatives to manage inventory and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in dental office administration or practice management preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in dental software system (EXACT), Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive attitude and a passion for delivering outstanding patient care.
  • Understanding of the workings of the Ministry of Health (MOH), Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC), and Work and Income New Zealand (WINZ) systems.
