Job Description - Patient Services Manager

At Ormiston Hospital, our vision is simple: To be the healthcare hub of choice for our community. We take pride in the growth of our people, and due to the current incumbent moving into a new internal leadership role, we are now looking for a Patient Services Manager who balances clinical expertise with sophisticated operational leadership.



Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be a vital member of our Executive Leadership Team. This is a chance to provide clinical and nursing leadership across the inpatient ward, pre-operative services, and surgical administration. You will lead a dedicated team of Charge Nurses and Team Leaders, ensuring that our patient-centric focus is matched by operational efficiency and clinical safety.


 


About You



  • NZ Registered Nurse with a current APC and 5+ years of leadership in a surgical environment.

  • A proven track record of managing complex teams and fostering collaborative cultures.

  • Comfortable with financial reporting, capital expenditure, and data-driven decision-making.

  • PDRP Level 4 (Expert) and a tertiary qualification in Health Science, Business, or a related field.
