Job Description

The Fulton Ho gan Life

Life at Fulton Hogan is about making the most of opportunities, taking responsibility, having a crack, being accountable and making it happen. We live by our REAL values – Respect, Energy & Effort, Attitude, Leadership – and we demonstrate these through the good work we do, every day, as one team.

Nau mai haere mai ki tā mātou whānau | Welcome to our Fulton Hogan Family

The Ō2NL highway is an upgraded 24km four-lane corridor through existing rural, residential, lifestyle areas and greenfield sites. It includes 4 to 5 million cubic meters of earthworks, six bridges over rivers and rail, under and over passes for local connections, major interchange construction, a separated shared pathway for walking and cycling along the full length of the new highway (tied in with the Peka Peka to Ōtaki (PP2Ō) expressway, and approximately 250 hectares of native vegetation planting.

The project is being delivered through two Alliances with New Zealand Transport Agency Waka Kotahi, Muaūpoko Tribal Authority, Ngā Hapū o Ngāti Raukawa ki te Tonga and Horowhenua District Council.

The north Alliance (this Alliance) consists of Fulton Hogan, HEB Construction, Aurecon and WSP.

The south Alliance (our Alliance partner) consists of Downer, McConnell Dowell, Beca and Tonkin+Taylor.

You’ll be supporting the Project Director and AMT in creating a high performing alliance that everyone wants to be part of and participate in. Develop and implement strategies and initiatives to achieve industry leading standards for our alliance team and help us create a lasting impact in the Wellington region. You will be leading and delivering best practice approaches that create and sustain high performance workplaces. Your extensive experience advising and coaching managers and teams combined with the ability to quickly create an environment for success and a high performing team culture will ensure that employees have a positive employment experience throughout the employee and project life cycle, and this will be key to your success.

Initially you will provide guidance closing out the Te Ahu a Turanga: Manawatū Tararua Highway Alliance based in the Manawatu, transitioning into the Ō2NL project based in Levin. This will provide you with the opportunity to build lasting relationships with key members of the Ō2NL team who will transition with you to project from Te Ahu a Turanga: Manawatū Tararua Highway Alliance in approximately a year.
