At Auckland Council, our people are at the heart of everything we do. As a People Partner in our People, Safety and Wellbeing department, you’ll be part of a dynamic, portfolio-based team that works closely with business leaders to deliver strategic and operational support.
You’ll play a pivotal role in aligning people strategies with business goals, enhancing the employee experience, and driving positive outcomes for our people and communities across Tāmaki Makaurau.
This fixed term opportunity until March 2027 enables you to bring your HR expertise to a role where your work directly influences leadership capability, employee experiences, and the broader culture within Auckland Council.

With a solid background as an HR Business Partner, you have the confidence and capability to influence at both strategic and operational levels. You’re known for your ability to provide courageous, constructive feedback when needed, helping to drive positive change and growth across the organisation. You’re resilient, adaptable, and commercially savvy, with a focus on delivering results.
