Job Description - People & Recruitment Coordinator

The Opportunity

As the People & Recruitment Coordinator you will be providing essential support to the People & Performance team. The key responsibilities of the role includes:

  • Supporting hiring managers and the People team with recruitment activities such as drafting job advertisements, candidate screenings, coordinating interviews and completing pre-employment processes.
  • Oversee the onboarding and offboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for new hires and departing employees.
  • Organising engaging induction programs, ensuring new hires feel welcome from day one.
  • Coordinating the offboarding process for leaving employees such as conducting exit interviews and system termination.
  • Providing administrative support including managing employee records,
  • Ensuring administration and compliance obligations are met through accurate record keeping.
  • Support process improvement for employee experience by reviewing processes and raising suggestions.
  • Supporting the P&P Business Partners as required.

About the Team

You will be reporting directly to the Chief People Officer and working closely with our People & Performance Business Partners, based in Auckland and Sydney. We are a small team with wide exposure across the business. This role is based full-time in our Glenfield office.

What you will bring

You are a proactive individual and will always bring a can-do attitude. In addition you will also possess:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or similar field
  • Strong administrative skills with a knack for systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated confidence communicating over the phone
