Permanent Part Time Receptionist

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Port’s Corporate Services Team as a Receptionist, reporting to the Group People & Capability Manager. 

We pride ourselves on great people doing great work, and strive to ensure this is mirrored by every external interaction with our business. 

Located in the heart of Mount Maunganui, our office is visited by a diverse range of people; from Government officials to Truck Drivers. Our expectation is that you will:

· Provide a consistent and welcoming experience to all guests;

· Work collaboratively across our diverse teams to perform administrative tasks and assist with projects where appropriate;

· Lead community engagement initiatives such as port tours; and

· Be willing to learn new things and adapt to the changing nature of our business. 

The role is largely autonomous and will favour someone proactive and helpful in their interactions with others. 

There are two permanent part-time positions available as a job share opportunity.

· Computer literate, competent using the Microsoft Suite and learning new software;

Port of Tauranga is a drug and alcohol-free workplace. The successful applicant will be required to pass a drug and alcohol test and background checks. Legal entitlement to work in New Zealand is also required.
