Personal Assistant & Business Administration Support

Provide PA & admin support to the Dean, Associate Deans & Department Heads within the Faculty of Agribusiness and Commerce.

Seeking applications for a savvy administrator to join our friendly Business Support team in the Faculty of Agribusiness and Commerce. You will be managing a reactive and demanding workload to assist the Dean, two Associate Deans and four Heads of Departments.

Some tasks of the role include:

  • Arranging meetings - booking facilities, drafting agendas, minute taking and distribution.
  • Diary scheduling and coordination.
  • Assisting in preparation, coordination and maintenance of records, reports, and correspondence.
  • Liaising with academic staff to make sure needs are met in a timely manner.
  • General administration support as required.

This is a permanent role working 37.5 hours per week based at our Lincoln Campus. Remuneration for this role is budgeted at $70,000+.

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • 5+ years' experience as a Personal Assistant supporting Senior Managers in a large organisation.
  • Proven ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail especially in spelling and grammar.
  • In-depth knowledge of administrative systems and procedures.
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills in both one-to-one and group situations.
  • Highly developed lateral thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Good organisational skills and a high degree of initiative and independence.
  • Qualification in Business Administration or similar is preferred.
