Planning and Procurement Officer

About the opportunity

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager - ANZ, this is an exciting opportunity to join our close knit team and play an integral role for planning and procurement, inventory management, offering sourcing solutions and assistance with costing. In addition, you will:

• Analyse sales and inventory data to identify excess, fluctuations, or unusual activity to ensure planned range availability while minimizing overstocked product; 
• Raise and expedite stock orders; manage all aspects of shipping and documentation requirements for timely customs clearance; 
• Investigate supply discrepancies and initiate corrective action; 
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with the Sales teams, including involvement in Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process to assist in improvement in forecast accuracy and customer service;
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers.

Do you have the following mixture of skills and experience?

• Relevant experience in a related position.
• Proven track record of working to tight deadlines. 
• A positive, calm energy and ability to work independently and within a group environment.
• Strong attention to detail, relationship building, communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong work ethic and a desire to make an impact.
• Experience using SAP or a similar ERP and strong skills in excel would be highly regarded.
• Experience of working in changing environments with demonstrated resilience.
• Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously.
