Planning Officer

Do you want to support the Clutha District and help grow and develop the area for future generations? We’re looking for a motivated Planning Officer to join our Planning Team in our Regulatory Services Department.

In this role, you will:

• Process simple applications for resource consents


• Carry out administrative processing of planning, compliance and other regulatory applications as required


• Provide technical planning and regulatory advice to internal and external stakeholders in response to enquires


• Be part of an inclusive team environment to help deliver growth minded planning services for the Clutha District.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a Level 5 Diploma in a related field or equivalent experience


• At least 2 years’ experience in a relevant field


• Is able to interpret, analyse and present information to explain technical information clearly to meet customers and stakeholders needs


• Enjoys working as part of a team and capable of working independently


• Is committed to providing high-quality customer service in response to enquires
