What does the job look like?

We are looking for an experienced PM Shift Manager to work at our site based in Hamilton.To succeed in this role, you should have a comprehensive knowledge of supply chain management practices and a demonstrative understanding of warehouse procedures, including storing goods, dispatching orders and tracking transportation vehicles. Key areas:

• Promoting a safety-first culture and ensuring commitment to safety, COR and quality requirementsat all times
• Supervise and assist the running of the warehouse operations on the PM shift
• The effective rostering and management of warehouse and transport teams and resources to deliver productive outcomes
• Active frontline engagement with site personnel to ensure they are motivated, trained and competent to perform tasks
• Report to leadership team on daily and weekly activity
• Maintain a strong relationship with our customers through proactive engagement

Are you the one?

You are a strong leader who acts with honesty and integrity and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and developing staff. You can demonstrate:

• Proven management and leadership skills in a logistics or warehouse 3PL/Supply Chain/Logistics environment
• Rostering and equipment management experience
• Safety leadership capability, process driven with an ability to work methodically
• Computer literacy with exposure to Warehouse Management Systems
• Self-driven to achieve and drive outcomes on a daily basis
• Previous experience with route planning in a fast paced environment
