Hilton Auckland offers the most spectacular harbour views and features 187 stylish guest rooms, renowned One Hat restaurant  FISH , iconic  Bellini Bar  and seven conference spaces. We are looking for a part-time Porter/Valet to deliver exceptional services to our guests.  About the Role As a Porter / Valet, you will serve on the Guest Services and Front Office Teams to meet Guest needs upon arrival and departure and to provide a comfortable stay for Guests by accommodating requests for information and assistance throughout the hotel.  Other tasks include: Welcoming Guests on arrival and offer a warm farewell upon their departure Assist guests queries during their stay Manage Guest luggage and vehicles Show guests to their rooms and explain the amenities and emergency procedures Receive and deliver mail and messages for the hotel and Guests Maintain current information on all hotel services as well as external locations, attractions, and landmarks in the hotel vicinity Project a professional manner with an emphasis on hospitality and Guest service Knowledgeable about the Auckland area and sightseeing's Provide support to the Concierge as required What are we looking for? 1 year experience as a Porter/Valet in a hotel environment A clean New Zealand's driver's license is required Knowledge of hotel operations  A friendly and outgoing personality with a proactive, "can do" approach Well organised and attention to detail Physically fit to perform the role Flexible availability to work in  weekends  and during  holidays It will be beneficial if you have: Previous work experience in 5-star hotels Previous work experience as a Porter/Valet As a Hilton team member you can expect to receive: Team member and Friends & Family discount on global Hilton room rates Discounts of up to 25% on products and services in participating Hilton outlets Access to Hilton University training, offering more than 2500 learning programs Access to an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Complimentary staff meals whilst on duty Laundered dry cleaning services  What will it be like to work for Hilton?
