Powder Specialist Operator

This role is key to providing support in delivering high quality product, driving plant and process efficiencies within the Yashili Powder operation. The role holder is expected to continue to operate the plant and assist the Shift Manager with the implementation of lean powder techniques that improve the Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) of the powder plant through continuous improvement projects and the multi skilling of operators. This position includes hands on machine operating.

Your responsibilities will include: Operate and monitor powder production equipment according to standard operating procedures. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. Follow strict quality control measures to maintain product consistency and purity. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to create a secure working environment. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions as needed. Maintain accurate production records and reports for documentation purposes. Participate in training programs to stay updated on industry standards and best practices.
About You: Proven experience as a Dryer/Evap. Production Operator, preferably in the food or pharmaceutical industry, with at least 4-7 years of experience Knowledge of powder processing equipment and operations. Familiarity with quality control standards and procedures. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Flexibility to work shifts and overtime as needed. Relevant certifications or qualifications (e.g., food safety, forklift license) are advantageous.
