Practice Nurse - Room for Advancement

We are looking to welcome a Practice Nurse to join our Grey Lynn Family Medical Centre whanau. 

We are a high needs practice with a large Maori and Pasifika patient base. 

Can be flexible with hours to make it work for you and your family. 

We are a friendly, diverse and supportive Clinic with a team of four Nurses who have worked together for the past few years.  We work closely with our approachable Doctors, who are supportive and always willing to help facilitate learning. 

We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, who is self-motivated with excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills. The Nursing Team work of several shared appointment templates, so someone who is team minded and collaborative is essential.

Our daily tasks include (but are not limited to):

• Smears & Sexual Health Consult
• Immunisations (Childhood Schedule, COVID19 & Travel)
• Wound care
• Mental Health Care
• Phone and in person Medical Triaging
• Optional cosmetic injections. 

The practice facilitates training and up-skilling.
