Prep Chefs Wanted - Dynamic Team

The team at Astoria are on the lookout for good people to join our team of hospitality professionals. We are currently recruiting for 2 Prep Chefs to join our team.

The first position is focusing mainly on baking, pizza dough and pasta. The team rotate the hours each week but early morning availability (4.30am starts) are required. Own transport is essential.

The second position is a 2IC position working under the Senior Prep Chef and the Executive Chef. This role requires 7 day a week availability and previous Chef experience at a Senior CDP or Sous Chef level. 

In this role you will working with our prep team, helping prep various different items for Astoria, as well as a few other other Yu Group venues. Previous experience a prep chef is preferred. Previous baking, pizza, protein or pasta experience would be advantageous. Both positions require flexibility across the week.

We are looking for strong candidates who are hard working, reliable, self-motivated and have a genuine passion for food and the Hospitality industry. We want people with creativity and passion to help enhance our customers dining experiences. Attention to detail is greatly desired, as is demonstrated culinary expertise. Weekend availability is essential, as is the ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
