We are currently recruiting a permanent, full-time role in our growing General Insurance Pricing team for a Pricing Analyst . In this role you will support the Leader Pricing Deliver by providing analytical and technical support in the delivery of Pricing insights. This includes the analysis of business opportunities and the recommendation of solutions.

Some of the key accountabilities will include:

• Conducting pricing reviews and recommending pricing strategies
• Delivering pricing changes to the systems including development of rating structure, emulation of tests and doing an acceptance testing before and after implementation of rate changes
• Assist in helping to identify the business opportunities to be solved.
• Selection of the most appropriate analytical techniques to use to solve problems.
• Communication of the outcomes of analyses to others in a way they understand.
• Working collaboratively within the team and across wider teams.
• Identification of opportunities for simplification, automation, continuous improvement and taking ownership of implementing these opportunities.
• Supporting managers in fostering a positive team culture including the development of the capabilities of others.

We are looking for an exceptional individual who:

• Strong analytical aptitude gained from formal education
• Have a tertiary qualification in statistical/mathematical/data-science field- desired
• Analytical, modelling and problem-solving capability
• Effective team player
• Ability to deliver results under tight timeframes
• Computing skills (spreadsheets, databases) and software skills (R, SQL, Python)
