Print Shop Operator – Part-Time (Sunday Required) 

MOTAT is an interactive museum dedicated to creating a fun, visually stimulating environment for its visitors, especially tamariki, whānau, and education groups. It is home to a unique mix of collections and experiences, with a vision to educate and inspire the innovators of tomorrow. 

We are currently looking for a passionate printing expert to operate our MOTAT Print Shop on a part-time, flexible basis. While days may change, Sunday availability is a must. As part of the MOTAT Working Everyday programme, this opportunity will see you take charge of Print Shop operations—demonstrating its workings to visitors, maintaining the machinery, and ensuring consumables are stocked for smooth and safe operation.

What we’re looking for: 

• Experience operating print machinery (heritage printing experience is an advantage). 

• Mechanical and maintenance skills are beneficial. 

• A strong team player with great communication skills. 

• A passion for engaging with people of all ages and backgrounds. 

• A customer service focus—years of experience are not essential. 

• A willingness to learn and share knowledge with others.
