Be part of our Supply Chain Transport Planning & Optimisation team as the Produce Returnable Packaging Specialist. You’ll be part of the team that makes sure we warehouse and deliver goods efficiently from our distribution centres to our stores – think PAKnSAVE, Four Square and New World. Your role will be making sure we have standardisation across our produce returnable packaging.

As a Produce Returnable Packaging Specialist,you’ll:

·Have oversight of daily, weekly and annual system-based and physical flows of produce returnable packing throughout our network.

oDevelop, implement controls and reporting to provide ‘health check’ tools for the wider business.

oSupport the alignment between Operations, Commercial Operations, Stores, and vendors with coordination and communication.

oFacilitate regular stock takes and reporting.

·Support the Transport Systems & Admin Support Manager and wider team in:

oOversight and controls relating to system-based / physical flows of non-produce pallets throughout our network.

oRegularly review and refresh of operational process documentation

·Input, guidance and analysis in support of wider Supply Chain projects and initiatives.

·Overall team leadership and coordination as part of team leave cover.

·Champion continuous improvement with the Transport Optimisation & Planning team.

What skills and experience you need

·A minimum of 3 years working in a Supply Chain administration / masterdata / systems based role.

·Experience in Supply Chain and/or FMCG is preferred, but not essential.

·People leadership and change management is preferred, but not essential.

·Attention to detail to ensure planning data completeness and accuracy across various databases and systems.

·Excellent planning and communication skills – both written and verbal, with a desire to engage meaningfully with all stakeholders.

·A collaborative working style yet willing to be decisive and show leadership when required.

·Have confidence in acting as a trusted advisor to senior management and influence decision-making for the best business outcomes.

·A willingness to learn, keep an open-mind and strive for continuous improvement.
