Product Owner - Guidewire Transformation

This is a permanent full-time role based in Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland). 
 

Ngā Mahi Hei Whakatutuki Māu | What You'll Do 
 
• Define and evolve the Guidewire product vision and roadmap, aligning priorities to transformation goals, business needs and customer outcomes 
• Lead backlog ownership and prioritisation across delivery squads, balancing value, risk, dependencies and technical health 
• Translate business, regulatory and operational requirements into clear product features, delivery plans and actionable outcomes 
• Partner with technology, architecture and vendor teams to shape how Guidewire capabilities are designed, integrated and extended 
• Collaborate with stakeholders across claims, underwriting, finance and operations to enable seamless end to end customer journeys. 
• Oversee delivery progress, managing risks, dependencies and milestones while ensuring solutions are scalable, secure and compliant 
 

Ōu Pūkenga me ōu Wheako | What You'll Bring 
 
• Experience as a Product Owner or similar role within technology, enterprise platforms or transformation environments. 
• Strong ability to define and deliver product roadmaps aligned to strategy and business outcomes. 
• Experience working with enterprise systems, ideally Guidewire or similar core platforms. 
• Confidence working in agile environments, managing competing priorities and navigating complexity. 
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with ability to collaborate across business, technology and vendor teams 
• A problem solving mindset, able to translate complex needs into clear, practical product decisions.
