Production Coordinator
About the role:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our dynamic team here at Triple Treasures. Your role will be responsible for leading the production team whilst, managing and maintaining our Risk Management Programme and Quality Assurance requirements throughout our food manufacturing processes.
As Production Coordinator, you will work alongside the production team, in operating and tending machines to process and package food products with an emphasis on coordinating, overseeing and ensuring that our production complies with our RMP.
Responsibilities:
- Document, implement, optimise and validate manufacturing processes.
- Lead and train production personnel in fundamental principles and best practise regarding our RMP and general food safety and quality management.
- Inspect inwards and outwards materials and products, collect and dispatch test samples, issue CoAs and Export Certification
- Develop, check and sign off on production documents and product specifications
- Execute appropriate solutions to solve quality problems, including plant and/or procedural modifications.
- Technical liaison between manufacturing and third parties.
- Understand and comply with government regulations for Food Safety, Environment, Quality, Health & Safety and Audits.
- Promote a food safety and health & safety culture.
- Operate, and tend machines to process and package food products.
About you:
- Knowledge and experience in food processing
- A strong knowledge of Risk Management Programmes (Dairy, Honey and Animal Products)
- Experience with MPI’s online ECERT system preferred but not essential
- The drive, enthusiasm, and knowledge to deliver outstanding improvements.
- An excellent communicator both verbally and in written format
- A Degree in Food Technology, Engineering, Science or related technical field is preferred but not essential
- A self-motivated and improvement focused team player
- Computer literate
