Production Engineer - Leading Industry Pay

Based in the central North Island, just outside of Taupō, Geo40 Ltd is focused on sustainable mineral recovery, and is looking for a Production Engineer to join the team. This role will be based at our site in Ohaaki, and will be a full-time position. The Production Engineer will provide operational engineering support to Geo40's silica business and assist with the management of the Company's people, processes and assets. A key aspect of the role is to provide strong engineering judgement at all phases of Geo40's business, from projects to operations to ensuring the Company's assets function safely and optimally. This role will also aid the commitment to flexibly produce the products sought by the Company's Sales Division as efficiently as possible.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities - 

• Ensure all activities undertaken are done safety and are complaint with the Health and Safety Work Act 2015.
• Stock Management 
• Health and Safety Systems planning and implementation
• Provide engineering support
• Sales and Marketing support

Skills & Education -

• Tertiary qualification in related field. Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical. Electrical or Process Engineer preferred. Advanced trade qualification would be considered.
• Proven leadership, management and interpersonal skills.
• Superb analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in using/learning digital systems (e.g., MRPeasy).
• Some Te Reo Māori and an understanding of the principles of Te Tiriti O Waitangi.
