The Role

Due to growth, we have created a NEW Production Manager role to strengthen leadership across our manufacturing and warehousing operations.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will lead day-to-day performance across:

• Steel fabrication and welding


• Blast, powder coating and wet paint operations


• Mechanical assembly and final QA


• Warehousing, internal logistics and dispatch coordination

This is a hands-on leadership role focused on safety, delivery, quality and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop production and warehouse team leaders and teams.


• Deliver production schedules, warehouse throughput and capacity plans.


• Ensure efficient material flow from goods-in to dispatch.


• Drive safety, 5S, lean and continuous improvement across all operations.


• Improve quality, reduce rework and waste through strong root-cause analysis.


• Monitor and improve key performance metrics (quality, output, downtime, labour efficiency).


• Ensure compliance, asset maintenance and safe operation of the facility.


• Collaborate closely with Supply Chain, Engineering and Sales.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven leadership experience in manufacturing or production environments, ideally:

  • Machinery or heavy equipment manufacturing
  
  
  
  


• Experience leading large, multi-disciplinary teams.


• Strong planning, organisational and communication skills.


• A practical, improvement-driven leadership style.
