Production Manager

FMI Building Innovation is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead our Accessories Division operations in Auckland.

Reporting to the Head of Accessories, this role is responsible for the end-to-end leadership of storage, powder coating, product assembly, and dispatch functions, with a strong focus on safety, quality, people leadership, and “right first time” production.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop production teams to achieve high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency

• Oversee daily production operations and dispatch to meet delivery targets

• Implement and maintain SOPs and best-practice processes

• Drive continuous improvement, waste reduction, and quality outcomes

• Ensure strong health & safety compliance and culture

About You

• Proven experience in a production or manufacturing leadership role

• Experience with D365 (or similar)

• Strong people leadership and performance management skills

• Hands-on, practical approach with a safety-first mindset

• Able to operate a forklift

• Experience driving operational efficiency and quality improvement
