AGPRO NZ Ltd are the leading direct to end user Agricultural Chemical formulator in New Zealand. We are continuing to expand throughout New Zealand, as both a manufacturer and distributor. 

Based at our East Tamaki manufacturing facility in Auckland. The position offers competitive wages. 

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate Compounding and Production to customer delivery requirementsDevelop and recommend strategies, objectives for improvements to all compounding and production areas. Review CAPEX’s for consideration by Agpro's Leadership Team.Recruitment and Training of the appropriate staff to facilitate optimum operation of Compounding and Production areasManage training plan for staff development or improvement, coaching / mentoring of staffAssist Plant Engineer managing the Preventative Maintenance programEnsure GMP, Worksafe and EH&S standards are enforced in all production areas at all timesPerform required H&S checks on the “Agpro” siteIdentification and resolving of safety issues, complying with safe operating procedures and use of personal protective equipment, along with communicating safety concernsEnforce importance of personal / chemical hygiene in all areas of productionRecognise and rectify faults occurring in all processes. Identify root cause of rejects and/or rework directly impacting KPI achievabilityGenerate work orders as per the manufacturing / filling schedule 

Experience required:

3-5 years experience as Production Supervisor or Manager

Must have excellent verbal & written communication skills, numerical accuracy also is of high importance for the role, and an ability to work autonomously

Be competent using Microsoft applications 

A fork hoist license is required.

Pre-employment medical testing will be required incl Drug & Alcohol testing
