Production Manager - Fixed-Term Maternity Cover

At Mons Royale, we believe in the benefits of action and adventure sports. The problem is that the clothing worn for these sports are F%ing the planet. We want to change that. Our mission is to shift the rider from synthetics to natural fibres.

We have an opportunity for a leader to join our production team in our Wānaka office. You will champion the collaborative relationships with external partners that deliver on the Mons Royale mission in full and on time.

This is a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover role from early August 2024 based in Wanaka.

What you will do:

Deliver bulk production on time, in full to the correct product specification and quality.

Drive the continued improvement and elevation of Mons production performance of our manufacturing partners.

Production planning – planning of bulk and SMS productions with all vendors booking capacity and ensuring tier 2 suppliers time lines build back up into our critical path. 

Lead vendor compliance and Quality Control.

Champion cross-functional relationships tying Development, Planning, & Logistics together driving optimum outcomes.

Report to business production status highlighting issues and potential solutions.

• 10 years’ experience in textile and garment production roles
• Experience in apparel/textile production delivering full on time
• Strong relationship management and communication skills
• Process and solution driven
• Proven track record in identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement
• Time management and prioritizing skills
