About the Role: 

Due to recent product demand growth, we are hiring more production operators and are seeking energetic go getters ideally with food manufacturing experience to join our small, friendly team. You will have the opportunity to progress your career through the below roles:

• Packer Operator 
• Loader Operator 
• Quality Control Operator 
• Process Operator 

We do shift work on rotation, usually 2 weeks day shift, 2 weeks night shift, with a generous shift allowance for night shift. Hours are 6am – 6pm (12 hour day shift) and 6pm – 6am (12 hour night shift). You will be required to work night shift so please consider this before applying.

Wages range between a starting rate of $27.34 to $33.81 per hour. Additional Shift allowance of $4.64 per hour when working night shift. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Reporting to the Shift Manager, your responsibilities will depend on your role and include:

• Raw material verification
• Pre-batching
• Quality control testing
• Operating process equipment
• Automated packing machines, along with general packing duties. 
• Forklift Operation
• Label Generation and pallet receipting
• Record keeping
• Staff training

Key Attributes 

• Attention to detail, with clear and accurate documentation
• Team player
• Smart, physically fit, enthusiastic and a “can do” attitude 
• Ambition and the potential to develop within the business
• Good trouble shooting skills
• Good time management skills
• Previous food manufacturing experience
