About the Company:

Our client is a well-reputed, kiwi owned company that has specialised in producing the highest quality, wholesale bakery treats for over 20 years. Baked from scratch with top ingredients, the team is made up of skilled bakers, chefs and genuine food lovers who make sure that nothing but the best leaves the door. With business going from strength to strength, and lots of exciting potential to capitalise on, they are now looking for two bright, ambitious, technically minded production leaders to join the team as they continue to grow and flourish.

About the Role: 

We are looking for someone who really thrives on a challenge, works well as part of a leadership team and is confident around machinery, it’s use and maintenance.

The successful candidate will have the ability to work and communicate with people at all levels.

Willing to work 5 days per week, which will include Saturdays, Sundays and the occasional public holiday.

Exposure to lean manufacturing and strong knowledge in operational efficiency is advantageous.

Responsibilities:

• Food Safety – quality assurance, food safety procedures, audits
• Team management – rosters, training, productivity, performance
• Systems management - Unleashed data and processes, procedures, systems, and records
• Plant management – oversee plant and equipment maintenance.
• Packing – supervise late shift picking and packing.

• Health & Safety – document hazards, eliminate/mitigate hazards, workplace H&S
• Production management – technical support
• Inwards & Outwards goods – support
• General management – meeting attendance and reporting

About You:

This is a hands-on management role within the production team. We want to speak to passionate individuals who love their craft, want to offer ideas, and be involved both on the floor, and in decision making meetings.
