As programme manager in the strategy and transformation team, your role will have considerable scope that will see you taking the helm to design, plan and lead the execution of emerging work programmes to enable growth and build resilience within the Council and community. These programmes vary in scale and scope but are all focused on ensuring that the Council is best placed to respond and readily adapt to the needs of the community now and well into the future. Your knowledge and understanding of sound business planning processes and project management will guide the delivery approach for this team and have influence far and wide. It is a true end-to-end strategic and delivery role. You will sit across some high profile pieces of work. Therefore, you will comfortably and credibly engage with a broad range of stakeholders, including with the elected members, the executive leadership team and your own team of project managers.

Tertiary-qualified, you will be experienced in corporate, strategic, and/or business planning, or with a broad programme management background. You enjoy identifying and encouraging opportunities for information sharing, collaboration and building partnerships.
