Project Delivery Specialist

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Delivery Specialist to join Kaikaranga within our Project Management Office. In this role you will support a range of organisational improvement and transformation initiatives by helping ensure projects remain organised, transparent and progressing. 

Working closely with project managers and business leads, you will help maintain delivery momentum across multiple projects by coordinating governance reporting, maintaining project documentation and tracking key actions, risks and decisions.

We are flexible on engagement options: this could be a fixed – term contract or independent contractor arrangement, with flexible terms and hours for the right person. 

About the role … 

• Support the delivery of organisational projects and improvement initiatives 


• Coordinate project activities and help maintain momentum across multiple workstreams 


• Maintain project plans, timelines and key milestones 


• Prepare project status reports, dashboards and governance packs 


• Track risks, issues, actions and decisions to ensure transparency and accountability 


• Coordinate project governance forums including steering groups and project boards 


• Maintain well-structured project documentation in line with PMO standards 


• Work collaboratively with project managers and stakeholders to ensure agreed actions are progressed 

About you … 

• Experience supporting project or programme delivery in a project management or PMO environment 


• Strong coordination and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities 


• Experience maintaining project documentation and governance reporting 


• Ability to track and follow up actions to maintain project momentum 


• Strong stakeholder communication and engagement skills 


• Familiarity with project management frameworks, tools or reporting approaches 


• Experience in service-based organisations is desirable
