About the role: 

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to join our team. The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects by managing technical review, engineering, administration, inspection, scheduling, planning, survey, procurement, QHSE planning and compliance, cost control, stakeholder management, and promotion of company culture. 

Responsibilities:  

  • Oversee technical review, engineering, administration, inspection, scheduling, planning, survey, procurement, QHSE planning and compliance, and cost control activities. 
  • Ensure project adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards. 
  • Manage project scheduling and resource allocation to meet project deadlines. 
  • Liaise with stakeholders, clients, and subcontractors to ensure effective communication and collaboration. 
  • Promote a positive company culture and uphold CB Civil's values and standards. 
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams to foster professional growth and development. 
  • Given the variable nature of the projects, some projects include night shifts and weekend work - Shift Uplift payments are applicable for our rail projects. 

Requirements: 

  • A minimum of 10 years of civil construction experience. 
  • Relevant Tertiary qualification is an advantage. 
  • Proven track record of leading and motivating teams, delivering projects on time and within budget. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Strong analytical, negotiation and relationship-building skills. 
  • Ability to interpret and apply contracts. 
  • Knowledge of relevant Health & Safety regulations and procedures.
