Key Responsibilities:
Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will manage and oversee multiple fit-out and interior construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. Projects will range in value up to $15 million.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and milestones. Coordinate all phases of construction from initial planning to final handover.
- Maintain strong, positive relationships with clients, ensuring their expectations are met and exceeded.
- Lead and motivate a multidisciplinary project team, including subcontractors and suppliers. Ensure effective communication and collaboration among all stakeholders.
- Oversee all aspects of quality assurance, ensuring all work meets the company’s high standards and client specifications.
- Monitor project budgets, manage costs, and implement cost-saving measures where possible. Provide regular financial reports to senior management.
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Proactively resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle, ensuring minimal disruption to progress.
About you: - Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in project management within the interiors and fit-out construction sector.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of managing multiple high-value projects simultaneously.
- In-depth understanding of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is a plus.
