In this key new role, you will be responsible for the ongoing development of the project management office, ensuring robust project management methodology is embedded in the organisation. You’ll make sure that all projects across the organisation are effectively prioritised, monitored, delivered and assessed in a way that best serves the needs of our clients and the community we serve.
Taikura Trust is the region's single facilitator of needs assessment and service coordination of support services for people under 65 years, who have a physical, intellectual or sensory impairment, or autism. About the role …
- Develop a framework for the PMO, supported by documentation and structure that ensures a consistent approach.
- Implement, manage and administer a structured project portfolio tool
- Develop the project portfolio to deliver the strategic plan & annual work plan, while creating meaningful reporting on milestones and effectiveness
- Lead assigned individual projects, and coach & support others in project delivery
- Gather requirements and support the development of business cases for proposed projects,
- Uphold Taikura values, ensuring respect and inclusivity are modelled in all aspects of the role.
About you …
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with a range of stakeholders
- Experience with various project management methodologies and change management processes
- Ability to write reports balancing comprehensive details and succinct summaries
- Highly organised, commercially savvy and able to adapt to fluctuating priorities
- A relevant tertiary qualification and advanced IT skills, particularly Excel.
