Job Description - Promoter Operations & Ticketing Manager

Role Objective:

We are looking for a highly organised and commercially minded individual to join the team as Promoter Operations & Ticketing Manager. In this 12-month fixed term role, you will support the planning, coordination, and ticketing operations of tours for New Zealand based Promoters, helping to deliver successful live events from onsale through to settlement.

Working across ticketing, tour logistics, budgets, and stakeholder management, you will play a key role in ensuring tours run smoothly while maximising commercial outcomes in a fast-paced live entertainment environment.

What you’ll be doing: 

  • End-to-end tour coordination: Support tours from planning and routing through to settlement, including venue bookings, itineraries, and stakeholder communications.
  • Budgeting & contracts: Assist with tour budgets, artist payments, settlements, and venue and artist agreements.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Coordinate with Promoters, Marketing, Partnerships, Production, Logistics, and Tour Accounting to ensure smooth tour delivery.
  • Ticketing operations (NZ only based Tours): Manage ticketing strategy and operations including pricing, inventory management, event builds, on-sales, reporting, and settlements.

What you’ll bring:

  • Previous experience in ticketing operations, tour coordination, event management, or similar live entertainment roles.
  • Strong understanding of ticketing systems, inventory management, sales reporting, and event operations.
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills, with experience working across promoters, agents, venues, partners, and internal teams.
  • Commercially minded and proactive, with strong problem-solving skills and confidence managing budgets, reporting, ticketing data, and revenue-driven initiatives.
  • Adaptable, tech-savvy, and calm under pressure, with a passion for live entertainment and delivering exceptional fan experiences.
