About the role | He kōrero whakamārama mō tēnei tūranga

To support the property team in achieving its objectives by efficiently managing the commercial and residential property portfolios, overseeing small projects, and assisting the Head of Property with larger, more complex projects. This will be accomplished by building strong working relationships with key stakeholders, suppliers, and contractors

  • Prepare reports where required
  • Submit applications for residential properties to Kainga Ora, private landlords or other parties as appropriate
  • Submit lease documentation to the appropriate delegated authority for signing
  • Assist with compiling, and savings of reports, when inspection completed
  • Ensure 12a’s / monthly inspections are being completed and recorded for each property
  • Manage BWOF contractor to ensure BWOF certification is achieved annually
  • Assisting Head of Property with various projects
  • Building Warrant of Fitness (BWOF) – Leased premises, ensure an up-to-date copy of the BWOF is obtained from the landlord and kept on file.

  • Prior experience in property management, real estate, or related field preferable
  • Excellent communication
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

 

This role is a full-time 1 year fixed-term contract based in Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington or Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland.
