We are a fast-growing, multicultural family-run commercial cleaning and property maintenance company based in Mount Wellington. We seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate loves being on the road and is equally comfortable on the phones. They will be responsible for identifying and developing new Sales opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and driving revenue growth. The Sales Development Representative will work closely with the marketing and operations teams to develop and execute strategies that will help the company achieve its goals.
Responsibilities:
ï· Identify and develop new Sales opportunities through research, networking, and cold calling (phone and face-to-face)
ï· Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospects
ï· Collaborate with the sales, marketing and operations teams to develop and execute strategies that will drive revenue growth
ï· Attend industry events and conferences to network and generate leads
ï· Prepare and deliver presentations to clients and prospects
ï· Negotiate and close deals with clients
ï· Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities in the company's CRM system
ï· Preparing sales quotations and proposals.
Skills and Competencies
ï· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
ï· Team player – able to build rapport and develop positive team culture.
ï· Desire to learn, seek new challenges and take on additional responsibilities.
ï· Motivation - solution-focused, able to operate with a sense of urgency.
ï· Capable of working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
ï· Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate data entry.
ï· Computer savvy - ability to navigate across multiple software systems.
ï· Organisation and strong time management skills to priorities sales pipeline.
Education, Certifications and Experience
ï· At least 2 years’ experience in Telephone Sales either B2B or B2C; outbound calling or Contact or Call Centre environment.
ï· Proven track record of success in Sales development or sales
ï· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
ï· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
ï· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
ï· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace and CRM software
ï· Willingness to travel as needed
ï· Experience in the cleaning industry and/or building and construction industry is advantageous.
