Are you an experienced and dedicated Property Manager with a passion for the education sector? Do you excel at creating and executing long-term maintenance plans that ensure your clients are able to focus on their core business services and not their property? If so, we invite you to join our team as a Property Manager based in Auckland!

Our organisation values innovation and excellence in all aspects of our operations. We provide a range of services to our clients that encompass the roles of account, staff, and property management in the education sector. We also undertake long term planning for Body Corporates and a range of private clients. Our work is based out of Auckland but extends to the Waikato and Bay of Plenty. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with school administrators, educators, and other stakeholders to understand facility needs and goals
  • Develop and implement strategic long-term maintenance plans that align with the organisation's objectives and budget
  • Coordinate and oversee maintenance activities, repairs, and improvements across multiple educational properties
  • Conduct regular property inspections to identify issues, safety concerns, and areas for improvement
  • Source and manage contractors, vendors, and service providers to ensure quality work and adherence to timelines
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, budgets, and expenditures
  • Monitor compliance with safety regulations and building codes, taking proactive steps to address any deficiencies
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams, stakeholders, and external partners regarding maintenance updates and plans.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Property Manager, preferably with a focus on educational facilities
  • Strong understanding of property maintenance and facility management principles
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills
  • Ability to develop and execute long-term maintenance plans
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications in property management or related fields
  • Computer literate and competent in Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Be eligible to work in New Zealand 
  • Have a full clean NZ Drivers Licence.
