Kei a koe te mana I Make the right choice

We are in pursuit of a Quality Control Chemist that will make a lasting impression on Kiwicare. This role will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Laboratory alongside the R&D and QC Chemist. You will be managing our products’ quality control and quality assurance aspects. This will primarily include testing and releasing of raw materials, finished goods, in process testing completion of associated documentation using techniques of physical, HPLC and GC analysis. In addition, you will be responsible for helping to develop and maintain the Quality Control and Quality Assurance systems and procedures in line with GMP requirements with the Kiwicare Quality Management System.
 

Ō Pūmanawa I What we're looking for

To thrive in this role, you hold a Bachelor’s in Chemistry and have a high level of knowledge of analytical chemistry. Experience with HPLC and GC is preferred. An understanding of and some experience in manufacturing, new product development, formulations & experimental design would be beneficial. Experience in the pharmaceutical, agrochemical, paint or related chemical industries would be a bonus.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate critical thinking, able to identify potential solutions and high level of attention to detail. You are strongly focused and showcase the ability to manage multiple projects. As a great collaborator you are adaptable and work effectively alongside others to deliver desirable outcomes. 

Full training and ongoing support will be provided to the right candidate and you will be working as part of a great R&D team.
