Curious about people? Love working with data?
Kick-start your career in insights with TRA.

ABOUT TRA

TRA is a leading insights agency—we help organisations understand people better. With offices in Auckland, Melbourne and Sydney, we work with local and global clients to solve complex business challenges.

We combine data, creativity and behavioural science to uncover meaningful insights about people’s lives. Whether it’s culture, customer experience, brands or behaviour change, we’re always looking for the story behind the numbers—and the ideas that make a real difference.

At TRA, you’ll join a friendly, diverse team of curious thinkers who love learning, sharing ideas and tackling interesting problems together.

THE GRADUATE OPPORTUNITY

This is a hands-on, supportive role where you’ll learn how research really works—guided by experienced researchers who want to see you grow.

  • Work on meaningful projects for well-known organisations
  • Build practical skills in research, analysis and storytelling
  • Be part of a supportive, inclusive and curious team culture
  • Enjoy an environment that values learning, growth and new ideas

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You don’t need to know everything—we’re looking for curiosity, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.

You’ll likely have:

  • A university degree with a numerical or analytical focus (e.g. statistics, economics, maths), ideally alongside marketing, psychology or research
  • Experience working with data through study, internships or early career roles
  • A genuine interest in why people think, feel and behave the way they do
  • Good attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • A positive, open mindset and creative approach to problem-solving
  • Confidence using Excel and enjoying working with numbers

HOW TO APPLY

You must have the right to work in New Zealand to apply.

Please include:
