The Opportunity
Our client is one of the most respected and successful PQS consultancy businesses in New Zealand, attracting experts from across Aotearoa and offering a compelling service to clients. They hold significant long term relationships with key clients across the public and private sectors and can offer diverse work across commercial buildings, residential and public assets.
With a busy pipeline of work, they are looking to grow their team with a strong intermediate QS or a Senior.
The company has a central Wellington based office, an open and fun layout where people enjoy coming to the office, whilst still offering work from home flexibility.
The Job
Reporting to an experienced Associate this is an ideal opportunity to lead client engagements on complex building projects. This business continually secures major projects in the region. You will have the opportunity to work on and eventually manage a portfolio of projects or one major build with work including client management, feasibilities, risk planning, procurement, value engineering, cost planning and reporting.
The successful candidate has the opportunity to grow their skillset, learn from the best and take real ownership of their portfolio.
Experience
Commercial construction experience is essential. But we’re open to hearing from anyone who has good experience as a QS, whether it is a consultancy or main contractor. It is important that you have worked across both the front end/tendering stages of a project and as well as a contract management/administration.
