Quantity Surveyor - Urgent Role

Our client is specialist Residential & Commercial property refurbishment, renovation & alterations, maintenance company often catering to insurance projects and who also undertake Residential new builds. Based out of Tauranga for almost 30 years, they are committed to excellence in customer service and the professional delivery of quality workmanship.

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to be responsible for Contracts management, Estimating and general pricing as well as co-ordination with clients and contractors, financial management and some project management.

This role offers diversity, challenges and the opportunity to expand your knowledge and skills with a significant secure ongoing forward workload.
You will possess appropriate tertiary qualifications and have had a solid contract admin QS focus throughout your work history. It is important you have previous NZ experience and are up to speed with NZ codes and standards, in particular  NZS:3910.

You will be primarily responsible for pre and post contract, tender enquiries, negotiating terms and conditions, issuing contracts, liaising between Designers, Consultants, Project Managers and tradesman, estimating costs, measuring of materials and labour quantities. A number of jobs will be mainly refurbishment projects requiring significant contractual attention. 

In return for your experience, you will be rewarded with a highly competitive salary - dependent on experience ($90,000 - $120,000) plus vehicle, phone and laptop.  In addition, you will have your own administration support person.
