About the role

We’re looking for an R&D Support Technician to join our team. This role is a mix of hands on and administrative tasks in a large-scale manufacturing company and is a great opportunity for a super-sharp team player to join our awesome Operations team.  

What You’ll Be Doing:

·         Assisting with product trials, formulations and specifications

·         Handling data entry and documentation with precision

·         Supporting customer and regulatory information requests

·         Helping to streamline processes and improve efficiency

·         Contributing to a dynamic R&D environment.

An analytical mind, attention to detail and above-average IT literacy are essential.  You should be a quick learner who isn’t afraid to ask questions or show initiative. You will bring a positive team spirit and build solid working relationships across the site, enjoying a bit of banter but knowing how to tune out to make sure the job’s done. 

Skills and Experience

·         Comfortable with data entry, creating spreadsheets and working in systems.

·         Strong administrative skillset and hungry to learn.

·         Willingness to be hands on in a production environment for product trials

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·         Well-developed organisational skills and initiative.

·         Positive attitude, energy, and enthusiasm.

This role could be ideal for:

·         A  food technology graduate

·         An experienced Administrator looking for a new challenge

This role is preferably full-time (40 hours) but we could be willing to negotiate part-time (30 hours) for the right person.
