Location:             Hamilton, Waikato

Role Type:           Full time, Permanent

We have an opportunity available for a friendly and professional receptionist who is well-organised and motivated with a “can-do” attitude, to join us in our central Hamilton office.

The Role

  • Manage our front desk and answer, screen and forward incoming calls in a friendly, helpful and professional manner.
  • Greet visitors when they arrive, and ensure they feel welcome and comfortable while visiting our office.
  • General office support - assist in the efficient running of the office.
  • Support the production delivery staff with tasks like printing, scanning, typing of reports, specifications and other documents when requested.
  • Order stationery, uniforms, groceries, catering and check supplies.
  • Prepare morning and afternoon tea.
  • Ensure reception area and kitchen is tidy and presentable at all times.
  • Keep up to date registers - this includes training certificate expiry, training dates, vehicles etc.
  • Diary management:  schedule meetings, training sessions and meeting rooms.
  • Assist in keeping our Deltek PIM program up to date with correct client details, actions etc.
  • Assistance and support on any other administrative tasks that is reasonable and within the employee’s capabilities.

The Person

  • Work experience as a Receptionist, Administrator or similar.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A friendly personality and professionally presented.
  • Quick learner with attention to detail, the ability to multitask, prioritise and problem-solve.
  • Good computer literacy & competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook).
  • Positive, can-do attitude and a great team player.
