Job Description - Receptionist & Office Assistant

The Opportunity

This is a permanent part-time position where you will be required to work two days per week (Mondays and Tuesdays), 7 hours a day.

As the Receptionist & Office Assistant you will act as the ‘face of the office’ at 86 Plunket Ave and be the first point of contact for all guests both internal and external. The primary focus will be to assist in the smooth running of the office by utilising efficient administrative processes and practical experience that provides ongoing value to the business.

You will have a can-do attitude, team player, and enjoy thinking outside the box. Outside of the day-to-day reception duties, you will be the first point of contact for all maintenance requirements. You will need to focus on the office operations and ensure they are up to standard.

Throughout the year, you will work closely with the office Executive Assistants on company events, programs, and initiatives.

Safety of our people is the number one focus at Suntory Oceania and therefore this role will get to be a pivotal player in the 86 Plunket Ave office. You will maintain a safe working environment and be one of the Office Fire Wardens.

To enable you to hit the ground running, we’re looking for:

  • The availability to work Part-Time hours on Mondays & Tuesdays, 7 hours a day
  • Prior experience as an office assistant/receptionist in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organisation and time-management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • A high level of attention to detail
  • A proactive individual who is a self-starter and goes above and beyond
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and relationship building skills
  • The ability to adapt and be agile in your approach as we embark on our transformation journey toward Suntory Oceania.
  • Intellectual curiosity, complimented with the courage to challenge and question for a better outcome, consistently striving for better ways of working
