Receptionist Smile Centre Hastings

The role

Lumino Smile Centre in Hastings is looking for a Receptionist to join their dedicated team. There will be some Dental Assisting required.

Smile Centre Dental has been part of the Hasting's community for 30 years, with Dr Martin Geddes leading the team for over 15 years. The practice is known for providing affordable and top of the line oral healthcare. This is evident with some of the patients who have been visiting the practice ever since it first started. 

As a Receptionist, you will be the face and voice of the practice. A typical day will see you assisting our patients with their enquiries, generating and confirming appointment bookings for our dentists and hygienists as well as patient recalls, payment processing, banking, and other ad hoc administrative duties.

As a Dental Assistant, you will support the highly experienced team of clinicians. You will be assisting them with diverse and interesting dental procedures during patient appointments. You will also take responsibility for instrument sterilisation and infection control and also stock control.

The hours for the role are below: 

• Monday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm 
• Tuesday : 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
• Wednesday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
• Thursday: 8:00 pm - 5:00 pm
• Friday: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Hastings is a New Zealand city and is one of the two major urban areas in Hawke's Bay, on the east coast of the North Island. It is a city known for its wine, food and culture.

• Previous experience as a Receptionist or Dental Assistant will be a bonus
