This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team as a Receptionist/Administration Support at the Hornby office. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a high level of customer service to both internal and external stakeholders. In addition to completing a variety of generalised tasks, you will meet and greet all visitors upon arrival in a friendly and professional manner, providing support where necessary.
 

In addition to the above you will: 

  • Answer all incoming calls, redirecting to the appropriate staff member or taking messages where required. 
  • Manage visitors to the office.
  • Handle all customer and staff enquiries.
  • Provide business support, including travel bookings, postage of outgoing mail, production of business documents, and assisting managers where required.
  • Help manage IT within the Canterbury region, including all movements of hardware and software.
  • Complete administration tasks including Accounts Payable Entry, Purchase order management and Accounts Receivable processing as well as providing general administrative support to our operational teams.
  • Ensure office supplies are ordered/stocked to enable efficient workflow. 

This is a full-time permanent role with a minimum of 40 hours per week, however opportunities for flexible working hours can be made available for the right candidate.

We’re looking for someone with:  

  • Previous experience in a customer service or administrator role.
  • The ability to build and maintain positive relationships.
  • Sufficient computer skills and competent in the MS Suite.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • Detail focused with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to maintain a high level of customer service at all times.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
