About the Role | Mō te tūranga mahi

We’re looking for a compassionate and organised Level 1Recovery Coordinator to support clients on their journey to independence. This is a stable and varied role with opportunities to grow your career in case management.

As the first point of contact for clients recovering from injury or facing challenges, you’ll:

  • Work closely with clients, whānau, providers, and employers
  • Communicate via phone, email, and in person
  • Manage rehabilitation plans and help remove barriers to recovery
  • Support clients to achieve their recovery goals

  • A clean NZ driver’s licence – for occasional travel
  • Bonus: Experience in case management or the public sector is helpful but not essential

Specialisation opportunities:

This role also offers opportunities to specialise.  
For example, Kaihāpai are part of ACC’s Recovery teams and play an important role in supporting kiritaki (clients) who need a dedicated point of contact due to the complexity or sensitivity of their recovery needs.

Kaihāpai focus on building strong, trust‑based relationships and supporting recovery outcomes in ways that respond to each person’s individual needs, preferences and circumstances. Working alongside kiritaki and their whānau, Kaihāpai help navigate ACC processes, coordinate rehabilitation activities, and support progress toward greater independence and, where appropriate, return to work.

Salary: 

$70,000 & 9% superannuation

Work-Life Balance

  • Monday to Friday only – no nights, weekends, or public holidays
  • Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 8am and 5:30pm
