Recruitment & HR Adviser

Work across some of Queenstown’s most recognised hospitality and tourism brands — Amisfield Restaurant & Vineyard, Jack’s Point Restaurant & Golf, and Glendhu Golf.

We’re looking for an experienced HR Adviser, Recruitment Specialist or strong HR Coordinator who is ready to step up into a broad, hands-on role leading end-to-end recruitment while providing practical, commercially focused HR advice to managers.

About the Role

This is not an entry-level HR admin role - it would suit an emerging HR professional ready to take ownership of recruitment while continuing to develop their generalist HR capability.. You’ll be confident running recruitment independently, advising managers on day-to-day operational employment matters, and ensuring compliance across the employee lifecycle.

You will get involved in:

• Leading full end-to-end recruitment across multiple current business units with more coming online


• Partnering with managers to hire quality talent in a fast-paced hospitality environment


• Providing first-line HR advice on leave, policies, performance processes and other employment queries


• Managing onboarding, employment documentation and HRIS accuracy


• Supporting immigration compliance and Accredited Employer obligations
  


• Helping with people projects and initiatives 
  

About You

You will ideally have/display the following:

• 2–4+ years’ HR experience in an Adviser, Recruitment or strong Coordinator capacity


• Confident managing timely recruitment processes independently


• Working knowledge of NZ employment legislation


• Professional, pragmatic and able to build credibility with managers


• Organised, proactive and solutions-focused
