We are looking to hire a driven Recruitment Consultant to join our experienced team at Build People Ltd in Christchurch Central, Canterbury.

Areas of expertise include Sales and Marketing, Operations and Executive appointments. We have a vast amount of experience in the industry - our key offering is based on providing a true competitive edge through strategic talent acquisition, not to mention our unparalleled knowledge of the key candidates in this market.

Our new Recruitment Consultant will play a pivotal role in the ongoing growth of the Build People brand in New Zealand. As such, we are seeking an exceptional sales and/or recruitment performer to deliver end to end recruitment services to our impressive customer base, along with the development of new relationships.

About the role:
  • Work with major New Zealand businesses in the building materials and merchant sector, to provide exceptional sales and management talent
  • Present the services of the business to SME's and corporate businesses
  • Confidentially represent top candidates from within the market, to secure them the best possible career opportunities
  • Meet and exceed realistic sales and growth targets
  • Grow branch presence via networking and relevant trade functions
About you:
  • You have a minimum of 2 years experience in recruitment looking to earn an exceptional income
  • You're looking for your true calling, not just a job 
  • You are thorough, accurate, polished and professional - able to get in front of business leaders and influence outcomes
  • You can work autonomously and are a self-starter. You must have a home office you are able to work from with no more than 2 nights of travel per month. 
  • You are driven, highly motivated and ready to have a significant impact in your region
