Recruitment Coordinator

The Role

This role this role plays a key part in supporting a fast-paced People & Culture function. You’ll work closely with hiring managers, candidates and other internal teams to ensure smooth, well-coordinated people processes across the organisation. You’ll also contribute to the ongoing improvement of systems and ways of working, while building strong, trusted relationships with people leaders.

Based in Christchurch and reporting to the P&C Manager, a major focus of this position is becoming the go-to expert for our recruitment system and processes. You’ll provide end-to-end coordination across recruitment activities, supporting recruitment workflows and educating people leaders on best practices along the way. The role will be varied and will suit an experienced recruitment coordinator who is comfortable with high levels of administration and recruitment coordination. From managing interview scheduling and pre-employment checks through to offers, onboarding, and system administration, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day recruitment administration. You’ll also manage key tools such as BambooHR which is our HRIS system and act as the first point of contact for recruitment-related enquiries.

About You

To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:

• Recent experience in recruitment coordination and/or HR administration, preferably 2-3 years – this can be either from an agency environment or another internal recruitment role


• Confidence supporting candidates, employees, and managers through recruitment processes and HR best practice when recruiting and onboarding


• Strong systems capability in HRIS or ATS systems


• Prior experience in BambooHR will be desirable but not essential


• A high level of attention to detail, including experience reviewing documentation, application forms, clinical certifications etc.


• An affinity to working in a highly regulated environment where we are seeking top talent to help in our mission which is to advance global health
